Volume Control

"Sometimes you have a noisy neighbour. You cannot do anything about that. They will always be noisy. You just have to get on with your life, put your television on and turn it up a bit louder."

Thus spake Sir Alex, after Manchester United's 4-3 victory over Manchester City this afternoon. It was a great match - marred by silly mistakes, the final one of which came in the final minute of regulation time when United gifted City an equaliser to make it 3-3.

Michael Owen's winner was a thing of rare beauty, coming as it did about two minutes after the whistle should have blown. But who cares? (Only City fans; and you have to be their mother or Jesus on a generous day to love them:)

In matters closer to home...

We had a great day at church today. I love being here. I love worshipping with these people. I love being part of our generous Jesus' family. With all the challenges and wonders that come as part of the package. Glorious.
